I have barely just begun to research information on my Italian families. I have started a scrap book which will be more informative rather than a collection of souvenirs. I know that one of my grandfathers came to this country in 1923 with a brother of his. I know that they arrived at Ellis Island on April 23. My other grandfather attempted to enter the country around the same time but was denied. This grandfather never tried again. My other grandfather made the voyage several times.
Both sides of my family come from a small town called Roccamorice in the province of Pescara. Within these two families there are also the last names Conte, Rosati, & D'Angelo.
