Hi, out there,this is a combination of several families that all came to Kansas from New York, and Illinois. The Gereckes and Michaelis were the start of this family and along the way we have acquired other banches which include Hanmann, Martens, Eggert, Hamms, Venters, Pitts, Portlock and a several names I have not included. At present I am trying to combine all the information for our family which is always expanding and growing with Genealogy. With the help of Uncles, Aunts and cousins this has been provided by all and I wish to thank them. I wish to thank Genealogy.com for providing addition information and most of all for the net with which I would have never been able to start this whole project. Have not much information on the Gereckes and Michaelis and would appreciate any assistance that people can provided . The Hamms and Venters is another story. At present I have not included pictures but have several I hope to share.
