The first annual Bud & Louise Caskey Family Reunion was held March 11, 2006 in San Marcos, Texas at the home of Cliff & Sylvia Caskey.

This first annual family gathering was conceived and organized by two of Bud & Louise Caskey's grandchildren, Stacey Andrewartha & Carla Sisk. The reunion was originally scheduled for the fall of 2005 but was rescheduled to March, 2006 due to the arrival of hurricane Rita on the Texas gulf coast.
