Zora Cordelia Dalton was born February 28, 1883 in Milton County, Georgia and died October 30, 1964 in Moultrie, Colquitt County, Georgia at the age of 81. She was the daughter of Claborn Paden Dalton and Frances E. Barnett and had 7 sisters and 5 brothers.

William Mitchell David Smith and Zora Cordelia Dalton were married September 15, 1901 in Roswell, Milton County, Georgia.

Both are buried in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth.
