Four generations from my mother's side, is her father's great, great grand parents are John Cockrum, b. 1827,in Tennessee. d. Sept 1860 in Walker, Huntsville, TX. He died in a prison. His wife, Patience Malinda Self Cockrum, b.Aug.. 06, 1835 in Marion Co. Ala. d. 20 Sept 1813 in Freestone Co.,TX
