We have created a framework describing ~300 individuals descendent primarily from the Bedoya family of Sonora Mexico (~1830), and Castro family of Mezquetal de oro Zacatecas Mexico (~1890).

This tree encompasses many families, including: Muro, Burreul, Arce, Plazola, Dominguez, Fuentes, Fraijo, ... And many others.

As with many family histories, ours was conceived in the hope that as our elders pass, we will not forget where we have been.

Much of the early work of compiling information about the Bedoya family was done by my late grandfather David Bedoya Castro (1924-2004), a veteran, teamster, and champion of the rights of immigrants and workers. He is sorely missed.
