+Mary EDWARDS b. 1806 m. 3-11-1822 in Franklin Co. N.C. The HICKS resided in Franklin Co. for more than 40 yrs. Asa, Tilmon HICKS, Littleberry HICKS & family migrated to western Ala. In1848 Littleberry sold his interest of his father estate to Tilmon HICKS to move on westward. After a brief stay in La., Littleberry HICKS & family settled in Weldon Tx., southwest Houston Co. (East Texas) They remained until 1865 moving across the county line to Kittell Cutoff in Walker Co. Tx.
Littleberry HICKS was a farmer & overseer for some of the large landowners of the area. Known
