I have recently begun compiling information gathered by other family members about our family tree, into a single compendium. In the past year I have come across information about a French ancestor who was in the Americas for just a brief period of military service before being shipped back to France after the fall of Montreal to the British. Recent activities include scanning black/white negatives from old boxes from my grandmother's estate, providing lots of pictures of my mom and her siblings as infants, growing children, and subsequent marriages and new infants and growing children (1920's-1980's). Not all photos were able to be identified by my mom or her older sister (the only two surviving siblings of 7). More than 700 photos were recoverd this way.
