In search of the ancestors of my Great Grandfather, George W. Cassady. As far as I know he was born in 1875 - 1890 in Michigan (Marlette or Dearborn). As far as I know his fathers name was George W. Cassady.

He was also a wrestler who went by the name of Kid Cassady.

My Great Uncle Mike Cassady tells me:
his Dad "George William Cassidy" Would have been born about 1875 they were from Dearborn Michigan. He had a sister and a mother who both died of a flue epidemic or something like that around 1895. He would have come to Canada to farm im not sure when but eventually they wound up in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan.

Mike tells me that George's DAD George Cassidy Sr. died falling from a skyscraper in New York where he worked when George jr. was 21 meaning this George sr. would have probably died around 1896?

I have a couple conflicting stories though. Because i've also heard they were from Marlette Michigan.
