I am researching the families of Uriah Casey (SC) Thomas Jefferson Lacey Casey (TX) James Madison Casey (TX) These ancestors went from SC to GA to Alabama to Texas. Also looking for information on Mastersons born in Ireland around Potato famine time.
The Pattillo family (use any of the variants of spelling) would be decendents of George Alexander Pattillo who left Scotland in 1740. I believe his name on the ship manifest was spelled Portillo. He had a brother named Samuel with him. They settled in VA, Ga, SC and La. before moving to Texas in 1830. Have quite a bit of infor on them after they go to Jefferson and Orange County, Texas but have lots of gaps. Will gladly share what I have with those that are interested.
