My mother became the victim of a dementia at the early age of 75 years. She was always the family historian and this loss was very devastating to our family. My father was the 'sick' one and mother was always going to write the family history when she got around to it. Alas! She didn't get around to it.

A few months ago, I retired and began putting photo albums and family history in place for my children and found that I didn't know a lot about my family- - - - so the research began.

My paternal family, the Watson's came from England to Wisconsin (Turner) and England to Virginia (Watson). Turner to California and then Oregon. Watson, Tennessee, then Texas and on to Oregon.

My maternal family, the Browning's came from England to New York and (McKlem) from Belfast Ireland. Maternal Grandmother (Munsell) (Crabtree) I am not sure of.
