My father, Joseph Castino, who was born in Sicily the Italian Island near the boot of Italy came to America with his father and mother in the year of 2001 or 2002. The Italian spelling of this family was Castagna and they arrived here by ship, first in New York, then later in New Orleans, Louisiana. My Grandmother, later married Frank Domino in Franklin, Louisiana; which is also my birthplace. My father and mother lived in Franklin for five or six years, then moved to Port Arthur, Texas to work for the old Gulf Oil Refinery. The Gulf Refinery changed names to Chevron, then to Clark. My father Joseph Castino died in the year 1982. He is now buried at Greenlawn Cemetery in Port Arthur.
