Much has been written about the ancestors of William Castle. Few researchers have even acknowledged the fact that he even existed. I have copies of deeds between Jacob Castle Jr. and William Castle for the sale of 75 of the 170 acres Jacob owned on the waters of Copper Creek in the Grassy Creek area of VA. Prior to the relocation of William and his family to Pulaski Co. Ky.. William sold the property to his brother Zachariah. I also have a copy of the deed of that transaction.
William and Margaret and their five children, the youngest,Patton Robert b. 1842 in VA, relocated to Pulaski Co. KY., where they are included in the 1850 census..
