Hello, my name is William Clinton Casteel, now residing in the state of Georgia. I am researching the CASTEEL Family of Preston County, West Virginia. The John Hudson (HUD) Casteel born in Terra Alta, Preston County, West Virginia on August 16, 1842. John Hudson was married to Sharlotte (LOTT) Francis Teets and together they sired 7 children of which 4 were living in 1900. 1. Charles Monroe - 1867, William Clinton - 1870, Mary Martha (MAME) - 1879, Myrtle Ann - 1881, and John - abt 1883. John died at an early age and the only information that I have for him is a picture.
I am seeking pictures and/or information on the CASTEEL Family of Preston County and I use the Family Tree Maker software program to record all of my information.
If you are researching the CASTEEL family line you too know that the information is scarse. What I have I am willing to share. My hope is that one day we will have enough information to publish in a book that can be placed in the local public libraries.
