The William Lyons Cashman Family

About Our Family Research


Our family history begins when William Cashman, the son of Edward & Margaret Cashman (born in Ireland in 1820 & 1813 resp), married Bridget Elizabeth Ahern (nee Lyons) in Chicago in 1866.

My cousin has been able to trace Bridget's family back to County Mayo, Ireland in the early 1800s.

My father, William Lyons Cashman, one of Bridget's 9 children was born in 1888.
