I really became interested in my roots shortly afterwards when we had our second or third family reunion on my father's side. I started collecting info from all the relatives thatwas there and put the info on a tree that I had drawn on a sheet. At the next family reunion, I hung up the sheet for viewing and added addtional names.
I also made a tree for my mother's side of the family and that's what I'm pursuing now. It is my desire to search my roots back to the mother country or at least to slavery if possible.
