About Our Family Research


I am just beginning to research my family tree, by speaking to my parents who are in their 70's. I am also checking internet sites and social security death indexes. My fathers parents came over from Italy in the early 1900's from Reggio, Calabria, Italy, to Ellis Island. Other names in my family are Melito, which is my grandmas maiden name, and Fanelli and Cioffi on my mothers side.
