Notes for Jonas Olander: Born in the western part of Sweden. He was engaged in agricultural pursusts in his native country. In 1872 moved to Houston County, Minnesota, and until 1878, resided on a farm in Winnebago Valley, Minnesota. He then purchased an intrest in the mills where he remained until 1880.
