He was in Company B, 18th Kentucky Infantry, Trans Co, F 15th Veteran Reserve Corp. he was in the nion Army (Grant's Army" and was honorably discharged February 7, 1965. He was a musician or drummer.
In the fall of 1870 they left Lexington, Kentucky to Bates County, Missouri. they bought a farm and moved to Henry, MO and then to Bolivar where he died. When they moved to Missouri, he ran a general store there in Bolivar.
