I am Sonya Beth Blake Chapman, daughter of Gayel Blake and Della Stacy Blake. I have two sisters, Judy Blake Greer, and Nancy Blake Lockhart. I have one brother, David Blake. We spend many years throughout WV and other states singing as a trio, known as the Craigsville Songbirds, later as we grew, the Blake Trio. Judy, David and myself. Nancy was quite a bit younger than we were. I married Raymond Chapman, son of Ollie & Thurman Chapman am the mother of six children, Jeffrey, deceased at the age of 5,
Beth Ann Chapman Jackson, David Craig Chapman, Bryan Keith Chapman, DeWayne Alan Chapman, & Michelle Chapman Woods. We have five beautiful grandchildren, Christopher David Chapman, Elizabeth Gayle Chapman, Alyssa Bryann Chapman, Alexander Woods and Josie Mae Chapman. I have lived in Craigsville all my life except the year we were married we lived in Richwood.
