Russell James Reed was born probably around April 11, 1920. He was adopted by the Reed family. At some point he changed his name from Russell James Reed to James Russell Parker. Social Security records place the state of issuance for his number under James Parker as being New York. I do recall him telling me stories about working and living in New York City. Under the name Russell Reed he had a relationship with a woman named Mae and had children including Russell James Reed Jr. The family was probably living in the Connecticut area. After changing his name to James Russell Parker he married Barbara and had two sons, James Russell Parker Jr and Ronald Parker. His third marriage was to Carol Jean Rollins in Sanford, Maine. They had two children--Anna Lynn Parker and Angela Dawn Parker.
