JEFFREY JOE CHILDSJeffrey J. Childs, son of Robert Clayton Childs and Anna Louise Moorman, is researching several lineages. The most prominent is the Childs/Chiles and Moorman lineage.
CHILDS/CHILES
I have traced my Childs lineage back to Lt. Col. Walter Chiles, who was born in England and emigrated to the United States prior to 1638. Mr. Chiles owned his own ship (The Fame of Virginia) and brought settlers to the US. I want to find more about my lineage in England.
MOORMAN
In addition, I have traced the my Moorman linage back to Edward Moorman, husband of Mary Thomas, and father of Lewis Moorman who was born January 29, 1805. I want to find out much more about my Moorman lineage as well.
