I am beginning my family search with whom I think is my paternal Gr. Grandfather, Henry Chinn born 4/1854 in Northumberland County, VA. His wife Laura, born 11/1867. His brothers' name was Silas, born 1852.
His son, and my Grandfather, Andrew Chinn was born, 2/3/1893 in Northumberland County, VA. His birth surname was spelled Chinn. One "n" was dropped at some point in time. His SS# was 214-24-1731. His death date was 9/1965. He left Virginia and moved to Lusby,MD in Calvert County, where he married my grandmother, Mamie Miller. They had three children, my father Andrew, Augustus and Helen who were all born in Lusby, MD.
My father Andrew Oscar Chin born, 8/29/1925 in Lusby,Md in Calvert County. He relocated to Port Norris, NJ in Cumberland County. He married my mother Juanita Camper in 3/1950 and had five children, Scarlet, Andrew, Ellen, David, and Angelia all
born in Port Norris, NJ.
