About Our Family Research
I am currently researching my family tree. I am of African-American decent. William and Lular Ervin were my great-great grandparents. I know they had 7 children who are all deceased. My great-grandmother, Roosevelt Ervin, was their baby daughter. Tracy Ervin was the yougest son , and the other children are Lucinda, she and her husband did not have children, Luella did not have any children, Lester, had at least two children, Clarence, and Monroe. Two of Monroe's children are Wendell and Regina Hollis from Cairo, Illinois. I know that William and Lular Ervin lived part of their lives in Tennessee. Lular Ervin died in Mounds City, Illinois. William Ervin was Native-American and Lular was Afican-American. Roosevelt Ervin was first married to James Johnson, their children are Leland Johnson who died in 1970 and Pauline Johnson who is my grandmother.
