I am currently researching my family tree. I am of African-American . William Ervin Jr. is my great-great-grand father,( he is Native-American and African-American) he was born in Mississippi. His wife Lular Holland was born in Tennessee.(she was African-American) She had 12 children, I found 10 of the children, but I knew 7 of them.Roosevelt Ervin is my great-grand mother (she was the youngest daughter of William and Lula children. Tracy Dayton Ervin was the youngest son.I know that William Ervin died in Cairo, IL. and Lula Ervin died in Mounds, IL. Lula mother is Kizzie Parks Prince and Lular father is Sim Prince.(Sim was born in Arkansas) I don't know where Sim died because after 1900's census I couldn't find him. Kizzie was in her son -in-law(Fred White) home in the 1910 census in Cairo, IL. (Fred White wife Hattie Parks died 1909 in Cairo, IL., they have a son Charles White, in 1910 he was four years old. My grand mother Pauline Johnson died Dec. 19, 2005 (Roosevelt Ervin daughter). If you know any thing about my family Please e-mail me.
