Chivukula was An ancient street is some remotest village serviced by poor brahmin priests who got their name. Hence the name - chivukula-vari-veedhi. Because this name was my dad's, I don't know for sure if there are many people with this last name. But until recently I only heard of a great Poet C. PURUSHOTTAM in contemporary Telugu ( One among thousands of Dialects that India has) classic literature.
