McCready/Chmarzewski Family Tree Updated May 30, 2002
About Our Family Research
The McCready/Chmarzewski union occurred on October 8th, 1966 in Hicksville, Long Island, New York (Nassau County). Thus far the reseach has gone back as far as 1884 when g-grand dad, Neil McCready came to the United States, arriving in New York, from Scotland. This has become a "brick wall" in that family rumors state that he jumped ship and changed his name to a more Irish sounding one in honor of his mother who was born in Ireland. His father was born in Scotland, but unsure of the real family name. The Chmarzewski family arrived in the United States, from Poland, in 1913. Have been concentrating more on the McCready family so have very little information on this side of the family, however have written to one family member who has returned to Poland on several occassions visiting family there. But as yet have not received any reply.
