Looking for information on a John and Charlotte Grieve who lived and had three of their eight children born while living in the State of Ohio. Lived there till 1842-1843 then came to Canada. Don't know what County they lived in but, I do know they where there around 1838 for that would have been when the first of their three sons where born. Their sons names are Hugh--1838, Mark (my Great Grandfather)1840, and Thomas--1841. Don't know if John's parents where living with him and Charlotte or the other way around. Charlotte is from the State of York State, United States. Don't know Charlotte's maiden name or who her parents are. Don't know what state John and Charlotte where married in. They came to Canada around 1844 and settled in the Tilbury East Township, Kent County, Canada. Have lots of information on the families, once in Canada. Hoping some one can help or know's the family. They had a Granddaughter that moved to the Columbus, Ohio area and her name was, Mrs. Isabelle Jones. Don't know who she married and don't know if her husband was from the Ohio, State. Her mother's name was Mrs. Mary Ann Elizabeth Moe and she was the daughter of Mark and Isabelle Grieve
