This research focuses on three main family lineages:

GOSSARD [my paternal grandfather was Lester Harvey Gossard 1890-1964, from Hagerstown, Maryland; he was descended from George Gossard (1784/5-1872) and Catherine Knode (1784 or 1789 - 1871 or 1876), who lived in State Line, which is partly Washington County, Maryland, and partly Franklin County, Pennsylvania.]

DENNIS [Lester Gossard's mother was Emma Agnes Dennis (1861-1941), a descendant of a Samuel Dennis who reputedly emigrated from Wales in 1790 and settled in Pennsylvania with wife Susan]

BLOYER [my paternal grandmother was Lillie May Bloyer (1903-1972), a descendant of George Bloyer (1848-1921) and Sarah Wishard (1849-1936), who lived their lives in Pennsylvania and Maryland]

My family charts include material my father put together from newspaper clippings, cemetery records, and Who's Who in America.
