We are attempting to construct our family tree back to the American Revolution. We have traced back to the father and mother of Bailey Choate, Richard O. Choate and Isabela Young. We have located Census Records for 1850 which indicates Richard and Isabela have had one child by the name of Moses Choate. Census Records from that point on in the same area have not produced any information until 1870 in the Missouri Census and we located Moses living with a family in Pike County as a laborer. Bailey Choate is the father of our grandfather, Frank A. Choate born October 18, 1904 in O'Fallon, Missouri. We have been told by family members that Frank Choate was the youngest. We have also been told that Bailey had two brothers by the name of Sam and Owen.
