Hello Dear Reader,
This is an attempt to contact and stay in touch with all members of this family both past and present.
Therefore, I must say research is an on going process that never ends. Furthermore, anyone who may be interested in any or have any connectsions to this or any any connected families may feel the need to contact me.
Hans Christian Christensen, his wife Anna Maria Catherina (nee Magnussen) with 2 sons Hans JOrgen and Engward (Ingvert). arrived in Keppel Bay, Queensland, Australia aboard the "Lammershagen" from Hamburg in 1871.
The family went for a period of around 2 years to live in the Bowen area. However, after this time they moved to Homebush, Mackay, Queensland. The family where to live in this region for many years. Anna Marie died in 1896 and later Hans Christian remarried a widow Olava Doreathea Jensen. Hans Died in Mackay district in 1911.
There are many descendants from this first marriage but have no knowledge of the second marrige other than Olava was alive when Hans passed away.
