It all began at our family reunoin. It was called the "Pioneer Families of Northeast Florida". Families came together to celebrate hundres of years of heritage and culture. This was a great experiance for my entire family, not only did we meet new people. We learned how important a role our ancestors played in the development of this region. At that moment in time I realized my calling. I had to find who I was. I had heard stories when I was a young boy but had made no connections until this time. In my new found research, I soon found out that there was little information about the Christophers. My Aunt Marion who is our resident family historian, introduced me to a tresure of information. Two casset tapes which contain an interview with my Great Uncle Earl. The tapes not only were rich with information they were a great source of leads. The Christopher's were part of the orginal European migration of the early sevententh century.
