Researching the family history has been rewarding. A professional search of my grandfather, Niels Pedersen resulted in following that branch of the family back to about 1308. My aunt Elsa had heard that there was royal blood in the family and indeed she was right. Unfortunately, following your history may have pit-falls. In our case the union of two royal bastards was the source of the royal roots in Denmark.
