I am currently working on the the ANDERSON, CHRISTENSEN, DEVEN, DONNACHIE, FENNESSEY, HANSEN, HEIN, KRAMER, KUZEL, MOREHOUSE, RANDALL, WINKLEMAN families.
We have been researching our family tree for just over 3 years and have discovered over 3300 relatives!
The year 2001 brought our family closer, with a Christensen family reunion in Michigan over Labor Day; locating a Randall cousin in Seattle, Washington who will be 80 this April; the discovery of a Hansen cousin, living just a few miles from my sister!, and our reunion with her and her family just after Christmas; and the exciting discovery of our brother-in-law's Deven family just in the last few days.
Along the way there have been information deadends and stumbling blocks. I have found family members who did not wish to be found, so sad for all of us. But nothing will dash our spirit to find family.
We are truly a melting pot family - Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, German, Volga German (Russian), "Bohemian" - Czech/Hungarian, Irish, English to name the most prominent.
There are so many questions we have for our ancestors, and through our research hopefully we can piece them all together.
