I would appreciate any help on my side of the family which is of the Christiansen side where my ancestors came from Denmark. Where my grandfather Henry Christiansen was born I do not know. His 2 sons were Henry Christiansen Jr., & William Calvin Christiansen. MY father William was born in Chicago, Ill. in the 20's. Henry Christiansen, my grandfather, was I suspect born in Denmark himself. And Marie or Mamarie as she was sometimes called, was I think from Sweden. William was in the Navy during World War II and served as a Chief Yeoman on a submarine. My sister Karen was born in San Diego, California. My brother Steve was born in Salem, Ill. and I was born in 1951 in Flora, Ill. I was the first baby born in that hospital because it was brand new. My only claim to fame!!! My uncle Henry Christiansen Jr. had a wife named Nina and they had some children of which I can't recall any of their names. If anyone could give me any help on this genealogy search of the Christiansen family and of the Filson family would be greatly appreciated.
