i am just begginning to search my family history on both my mother's and father's side. I would like to trace back as far as possible.

i know that my mother's family came to america from germany around 1899 and eventually settled in illinois. my father's family has been here longer and included members such as clyde barrow and george rogers clark.

my father served in the air force reserves during viet nam and my grandfather was in the navy on a medic ship during world war 2. my grandmother on my father's side is a children's book author in bloomington indiana.

my parents met as students at purdue university
