My mother is Cobie Evelyn Trotter Atkison, born October 20, 1914, in Cherokee County, Alabama. She is now 92. I am searching for any records pertaining to her maternal or paternal family.
James' mother's name was Margaret (Mattie) Henton Trotter and his father's name was John Trotter. John was from Ireland originally.
Lilly Ann Poole was born in Cedartown, GA. Mother has one picture of Lilly and some of her family. That is all I know about Lilly.

Cobie Evelyn Trotter married Clarence Porter Atkison on October 31, 1931. They had two children. Travis Clarence Atkison born January 31, 1933, and Joyce Ann Atkison born November 1, 1949. Clarence died on October 23, 1955 in Rome, GA. Travis married Okanee Warren. They had five children whose names are Van, Bruce, Debbie, David, and Jonathan.
Joyce married Gary Lee Kolstad. We had one child, Gary Lee Kolstad, Jr., who was born May 21, 1978, in Union, SC, and died April 28, 2004 in Greenville, SC. Losing my son has been the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with in my life. He was my pride and joy.
