The name Christian comes from our grandfather's side of the family.Herman and Curry Christian of Booneville,MS.were the parents of my grandfather Harry Christian.They had 10 children,90 grandchildren,82 great grandchildren. My grandfather married my grandmother Mary e.Howard daughter of Robert and Bettie T. Shannon(my great grandparents).My great grandfather's(Robert Shannon)parents were Sam and Alice Shannon (great great grandparents)of Wilson county TN.And William and Tabitha Seay were the parents of my great grandmother Bettie T. Shannon.Now Harry and Mary had three children:Beverly Christian(aunt),Robert Christian(deceased uncle)and Betty Christian(mother).After divorcing both moved on and had other children.Mary had one more Shirley Howard(aunt).And Harry had11 more.I am Lekisha Christian daughter of Betty Christian, daughter of Harry and Mary.I have2 brothers and 1 sister.I'm also married and have 1 child.Im researching surnames (Seay,Christian and Shannon).
