I was born in N.Y. City in 1949. Parents were married in 1947,divorced in 1957. Do not know much about my fathers side of the family. I have had limited contact with them and now am trying to find things out. Fathers name was William Joseph Citelli, brothers Sydney and Victor. Father and his brother Sydney are both deceased. I have a brother Robert Joseph Citelli and a sister Laura Maryann Citelli who legally changed her name to my mothers maiden name, Terranova. My mothers name is Martha. Her fathers name was Joseph Terranova and her mothers name was Maryann Candella both of whom came here from Montelebre Sicily, Italy in the late teens of 1900. My maternal grandfather died in the late 20's and my maternal grandmother remarried to Pietro Caprioli. That union produced Mary Caprioli. I have cousins on my fathers side from the union of Sydney and Bertha, a daughter Barbara. From the union of Victor and Jean, Dorothy and Ferdinand. Cousins on my mothers side from the union of Vincent and Antoinette Caprioli, Maryann, Laura, Annette and Diana. From the union of Rose and Joseph Caprioli, Christina, deceased, and Dolores. Christina died in 1975 and the world has not been the same since. Mary and Ken Musto produced Erica and Mark.
Since my initial entry I have found relatives around the world. I have found out that we have a family crest and title dating back hundreds of years. that there is a town and a mountain in Sicily with our family name on it. I am still researching and still finding new "Family". 10/01/01
