| Welcome to my family tree. My main names include Abbot; Clare; Cooke; Cuthbert; Davey; Doyle; Gatrell; Hore; Johnson; Keam; Murrell; Peak; Smith; Sutling Key research is through my maternal grandmother's maiden name of Sutling. Her father Charles Sutling came from Aveley, Essex England as did most of that surname. Charles married Ellen Johnson abt. 1870 but although I think she came from the William Johnson /Mary Pavit family also from Aveley, I am still seeking proof. The children of Charles & Ellen Sutling, are very elusive and I only really have birth/death proof of my grandmother Annie Sutling b. 1880. Her brother Charles Sutling b. abt 1878 who eventually lived in Canada, her sister Eleanor (Nellie)b. abt 1879 who emigrated to USA and sister Sereta (Rita) b. abt 1883 who was killed somewhere in S.Africa, are missing all the vital information I need. They have in fact vanished without a trace! My maiden name of Hore has it's roots in St.Austell, Cornwall and I have traced these ancestors back to John Hore b. bef. 1668 and Mary. There are lots and lots of Hore names in my tree. Much of my information has been given to me by other researchers which I am methodically checking. Please let me know if you see any errors that you know about or can help me add more people. |
