I know nothing about my grandfather other than his name, birth and death dates. I know he married my grandmother, Eudora Louise Bruyere, in Beverly, New Jersey on June 8, 1897. I have the Bruyere family tree, but nothing on the Work family. My grandparents had my grandfather's spinster sister, Mary Elizabeth Work, living with them in Roanoke, VA. My grandfather's father was named Samuel and his mother was named Amanda Archer. There were several children born to Samuel and Amanda but only the two servived to adulthood. My grandfather played the organ in various churches in Philadelphia, PA. I believe this father also played the organ (not sure of this fact.) My grandfather was moved to Roanoke, VA with his railroad employement. My mother and her sisters were born in Roanoke, VA. The Work family before my grandfather were buried in the cemetary at Pine Street Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, PA. My grandparents are buried in Woodlawn Cemetary, Philadelphia, PA
