Hiram Turner B: about 1811 in South Carolina and wife Mary Rich b. 1813, were married in Lumpkin County, GA March 3rd, 1835. They are shown on the Habersham County, GA. census in 1840. Sometime after 1844 they moved to the Fulton County area of Arkansas.
Their children are as follows: Tilman P. Turner,-B: GA. 1836/37, d. December 29, 1894, Izard County, Arkansas, m. Manervy, father of 15 children, 7 by Manervy and 8 by second wife. Interested in all related Turner families, although this home page is primarly related to Nancy Minerva Turner who was first married to Robert Renison, parents of John, born in MIssouri and Mary born in Fulton County, Arkansas. Nancy was separated from Robert and living with her parents when Mary was a baby.
On September 18, 1874 Nancy married widower Jacob Harvey Stuart of Wiseman, Arkansas, he had one son at the time William Ward Stuart. Nancy and Jacob H. Stuart, parents of George Washington Stuart, Maratha B. Stuart, Taylor Wood Stuart, James Wiley Stuart and Oscar Stuart all of Izard and Fulton Counties, Arkansas.
