I've been searching my roots off and on for about 8 years. The name Cornish has always fascinated me since we are Black. I've been told about my great grandmother, Julia, who was a full blood Choctaw indian. But no one seems to know anything about her, so, I'm stumped there. My grandfather, Ollie Cornish, married Laura B. Winn (these are my dad's parents). But, I don't know where they came from. All of my dad's side of the family are all gone except a cousin. So, I've got to follow a paper trail, instead of getting info from relatives.
