INTERESTED IN INFORMATION RE:JOHN CLISHAM B.ABT.1823 AND RAISED AS AN ORPHAN IN GALAWAY COUNTY,IRELAND.IMMIGRATTED TO THE UNITED STATES AND WAS A RESIDENT OF WOODSTOCK,MAINE IN 1850.MARRIED A WOMAN FROM IRELAND NAMED WINIFRED CURRIER,LATER HAD A SON WHO WAS BORN IN BREWER,MAINE IN 1870. WHO WAS NAMED WILLIAM JOHN CLISHAM AND MARRIED ELIZABETH MCNICOL IN 1915.THEY HAD FIVE CHILDREN , ONE OF WHOM WAS MY FATHER WILLIAM JAMES CLISHAM WHO WAS BORN IN BANGOR,MAINE WHERE HIS PARENTS LIVED.
