I began my family history research about 1990. I was fortunate enough to have both an Historical Society with microfilmed census records and such in Oklahoma City, about 10 miles from my home, as well as a Church of Latter Day Saints with a Family History Library. Unfortunately, back then, there was not much more than Social Security Death Indexes on CDs available at the church, and the Society has census records and not much else on their microfilmed files.
Then the Internet was launched and in the past year I have uncovered a mountain of information, thanks to the efforts of distant cousins and those I had known from my childhood, but with whom I had lost contact years ago. My most sincere gratitude and appreciation goes to them.
My research includes these surnames, which extend on both my parents' sides of the family:
My father's branch: Cline, Phillips, Bell, White
My mother's branch: Worley, Reeves, Loyd, Stevenson, Baker, Edwards, Stringer, Brewer
These are not inclusive of all the many names from marriage links. I will try to list as many names as is possible for the space I am alotted. If you find any obvious errors, please contact me and I will do my best to correct the mistake. I have tried my best to verify all the source information, and have made notes on those links that have been posted in forums, message boards and internet files, such as LDS, FamilyTreeMaker and Ancestry.com.
