I have done my research on the internet and at the Morman Research Center here in Sacramento, California. I have checked with my fathers family but they can't recall much information other then who there parents were. I do know that my Grandfather Petty's grandmother was Augusta Peer. Her father was Calvin Peer of Denville, New Jersey.
My mother's family are from Upstate NY and being and Benjamin Franklin Everest was a lot easier to find.My information goes back to Andrew Everest who was born around 1620 in England and died Dec 25 1692, York, Maine. Benjamin's wife Francis Barnes is another story I have no information on her family. I am still working on my mother's mothers family she was a daughter of Horace Carpenter and Henretta (Nellie)Coates and I have very little on either of them.
Now for my husband Paul's family. We are looking for information on William Clifton and his wife Elizabeth who came from England around 1867. They lived in Hobokin, New Jersey. We are also looking for Paul's father's mother side of the family she was fron Manhattan, NY her name was Emily Alice Gloeckner. His mother side of the family lived in Philadelpia, PA. Robert Steel family was from PA and Lillian Agnes Cloughley from Ireland & Scotland Lillian's father was Robert H Cloughley from Coalisland, Tyrone County, Northern Ireland and Isabeela Black was from Scotland.
