Since the death of my father, Shirley A Clinton Jr, in January 2008, I have decided I would like to touch base with any relatives from his side that may still be living.
My father grew up in Charleston, West Virginia, the son of Shirley A Sr, and Macel (Boggess) Clinton, on July 15, 1923. He had one brother, Kermit Clinton.
He married my mother, Betty (Phillips) Clinton, in 1947,having met her in Washington DC after "The War". They then moved to Pottstown, PA., where my sister Sandy and I were born and raised.
My father died 2 days shy of my parents' 60 year wedding anniversary, an event he desperately wanted to be here for.
I know I have first cousins, Anita and Shirley Ann, but have not had any contact with them for decades. I also am fairly sure that my father has ciousins still in the Charleston/Ripley area.
