About Our Family Research
Well, I think I came from the cabbage patch, because no one will clam me. I started out looking for my g-greatfather, but I cant spell their name, I have a lot of possables, any way they came to La. in a home made boat or ship with fourteen families. they came up the Mississippi river some stayed in New Orleans and some came on up the river and stayed in Natchitoches.I think you would spell their name Gorsuch?. MY great grand mother Lou Brewster was born in Alabama I think . She married John Miller, and three living children, John, James Lawrence, and Cora. John the father was killed in Shreveport and buried in a potters field, the old Green wood cemetary.[behind juvinal hall on youree dr.]I think that was in 1914 or 15. My grand father was James Lawrence and he married Lummie Ann Jackson in 1921 and they had only one daughter Maxine, she married Huey cloud and I came a long. She divorced Mr cloud and five years later married Raymon E. Pilcher and they had Donna Faye. If you can help in any way pleas E-Mail me. Sandy
