Updated April 21, 2001
| About Our Family Research |
|
This page traces a branch of the descendants of Zacharie Cloutier of Mortagne au Perche in France who came to Canada in 1634. The first seven generations of the family lived in Quebec until Jean Francois Cloutier moved with his family to Ontario in about 1858 where the name eventually became Clutchey. The Website traces the story of this descendancy with specific reference to the many factors influencing the family's moves and their ways of life. The link below will take you to a detailed outline of the family tree showing the history of the David Clutchey family as it links to Zacharie Cloutier. Historical data, photographs, stories and legends graphically depict 367 years of a Canadian family's history. The Web Site is in both English and French
