About Our Family Research

I descend from Francis Cooke of the Mayflower. One member of his fifth generation (Ephraim Cooke) went to Nova Scotia in the Yarmouth area about 1764, where the next three generations resided. Some of the following generations returned to the USA and have lived in the Ma area since.
I am trying to trace two of them that were borned in NS, a Joseph b1790 in Yarmouth and George b1825 in the Digby area. The dates are not 100% but very close.
This would help when I apply to the Mayflower Society, since I am the eleventh generation and the only problem I have is proving the seventh and eighth generations from NS. All the others have been proved.
Joseph is Ephraim's son, and George is Joseph's son.
Any help would be thankful.
